Tigers Establish Solid Foundation in Season Opener
Both Squads Finish at 2-1

 | | Josh Stein looks towards another ECRHA Division 1 title for the Tigers. | In the opening weekend of regular season play, both Tigers squads responded extremely well to the high level of play in Broomall, Pennsylvania. The Division 1 faced off against University of Rhode Island, last season’s runner-up at the NCRHA National Championships in St. Louis, along with The University of Connecticut and Nassau Community College (DIII, Long Island, N.Y.). In a last second finale, the Rams of Rhode Island escaped with a 6-5 victory over the Tigers in a very tightly played game.
